Omegapoint's growth journey continues with FSN Capital as new majority owner

2021-05-12

Omegapoint has an aggressive growth strategy with plans to establish itself in Northern Europe. As before, growth will occur both organically and through acquisitions. With FSN Capital as the majority owner, Omegapoint has good conditions for rapid expansion together with a partner who has made similar journeys before.

FSN Capital is exactly the owner we are looking for. They have previous experience in our industry and in driving geographic growth together with their companies. Like Priveq, they have a strong ethical compass and they value our culture of competence, which is important to us, says Johan Malmliden, CEO of Omegapoint Group AB.

FSN Capital is one of Northern Europe's leading venture capital firms with investments in growth companies such as Netcompany, Nordlo, Kjell & Company and Fellowmind.

Omegapoint ensures development in a world that is becoming increasingly digital. They fulfill an important function in societal development and we want to support that. In addition, the market for cybersecurity and secure digitalization is growing rapidly. There is an incredible amount of expertise in the company and all the conditions for continued expansion, including internationally, says Patrice Jabet, Partner at FSN Capital Partners.

In connection with FSN Capital becoming the majority owner of Omegapoint, Priveq is selling its stake in the company.

Omegapoint has developed fantastically during our time as owner, driven by a strong culture of competence, committed employees and a clear strategy. Priveq would like to extend a big thank you to all employees and shareholders for a good collaboration and we are convinced that Omegapoint is well equipped to continue, together with FSN Capital, towards the vision of A digital world where everyone dares, says Henrik Jatko, Partner and Investment Manager at Priveq.

The final implementation of the ownership change will take place after the customary competition review. Omegapoint will continue to be partly owned by the company's employees.

I would like to thank Priveq for being by our side, supporting and challenging us for several important years. We now look forward to the next exciting and international step together with FSN Capital, concludes Johan Malmliden.
