Strengthened food safety in Europe
Challenge
The European Food Safety Authority's processes for tracking contaminants and trace elements in food were previously mostly manual, which was time-consuming and resource-inefficient. The Swedish Food Agency (SLV) was tasked with developing a streamlined tool for all EU countries.
Solution
Omegapoint is strengthening SLV with AI expertise during 2025-2026 to take their idea from feasibility study and proof-of-concept to a complete AI service – automated data conversion and reporting with high precision, integrated directly into existing workflows.
Results
Already in its pilot phase, the AI service shows accuracy on par with manual work and lays the foundation for a fast, scalable and precise reporting process with greatly reduced manual work and higher quality as an effect.

Challenge
In 2025, Apoteket noted that development teams were already using AI tools to increase efficiency, but without governance and clear security principles. To scale usage, a unified and secure approach was required.
Solution
Omegapoint was contacted and, together with Apoteket, has established guidelines for the selection and packaging of AI tools. In parallel, clear security policies and guidelines were developed for how AI should be used for code generation and information retrieval in practice.
Results
A pilot with a complete packaging of Claude AI/Claude Code has been implemented. Through standardization and updated security classifications, the conditions are now created to scale the solution in the organization. Apoteket has laid the foundation for a high development rate without compromising security.
