Omegapoint warmly welcomes all participants in this fall's Academy Professional Program to an intensive and educational period as consultants within Omegapoint. We realized early on the value of actively working to identify, attract and further develop Sweden's best talents in IT and technology, sometimes already during their studies at colleges and universities.

Back in 2011, Omegapoint launched a program to attract students who wanted to jump-start their careers after completing their studies. The program was launched as Omegapoint's Junior Consultant Program (JKP) and has grown continuously since its inception. Participants in JKP alternate theoretical training with interesting customer assignments where they are supported by Omegapoint's most experienced consultants and the learning curve is very steep.

The participants from the spring program recently graduated, and all participants are now employed within Omegapoint's consulting organization. At the same time, the participants from this year's second program were welcomed to what will now be known as the Omegapoint brand. Omegapoint Academy Professional Program (APP). Also new from the autumn program is that Omegapoint is launching a separate program track for Information Security.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Academy Professional Program – Theoretical training and customer projects from day one

As a participant in APP, you will be immersed in modern technologies and methods during two intensive introductory months, while also learning the craft of working as a consultant. Within Omegapoint, we have a distinct culture of competence and the content of APP is continuously updated to reflect the rapid technological development in society. The program for autumn 2018 includes courses in areas such as Agile methods, secure application development, test-driven development, modern web technologies and Continuous Delivery.

All assignments are carried out under the supervision of Omegapoint's most experienced consultants and reported to a steering group led by the customers. The project is concluded and reported by all participants in the Academy Professional Program presenting results and experiences from the assignments to Omegapoint's employees.
