Omegapoint and Aftonbladet invest in junior consultants
Omegapoint continues to work to build the strongest expertise and will start the Omegapoint Junior Consultant Program 2012 in September. During six intensive introductory weeks, the accepted junior consultants will learn everything about Omegapoint and receive internal training in, among other things, project methodology, secure application development and presentation techniques. From the first day of the program, they will also work on a real customer assignment for Omegapoint's customer Aftonbladet.
– We are pleased to be able to implement the Junior Consultant Program together with Aftonbladet this year, says Johan Lund, Vice President and Account Manager at Omegapoint. For Omegapoint, skills development is important and a well-implemented junior consultant program gives participants a boost that few can offer. We are really happy that we can contribute with this.
– We have the challenge that a junior consultant program needs to make the program interesting and developing, says Anders Berg, Development Manager at Aftonbladet.
The junior consultant program is being implemented for the second year in a row and was a great success in 2011.
“The junior consultant program has given me a fantastic start after graduation,” says Magnus Andersson, a participant in the program in 2011. Today I have an exciting consulting assignment as a developer at one of our clients. The program gave me the preparation I needed to feel confident in the role as a consultant.
