Omegapoint acquires Integrationsbolaget and Molnbolaget – strengthens its market position in secure digitalization

Omegapoint continues to make strategic investments in cybersecurity and secure digitalization and now acquires Integrationsbolaget Sverige AB and Molnbolaget Sverige AB with niche expertise in system integration, operation and management. The acquisition means that Omegapoint strengthens its competence, develops its offering and expands its geographical presence.
The acquisition is the first since FSN Capital took over as the new majority owner in May, when an aggressive growth strategy was also announced. The goal is to become Northern Europe's leading player in cybersecurity and secure digitalization, which means continued focus on growth with establishment in new markets and development of the offering.
-The integration company fits perfectly into Omegapoint's transformation, where we are now moving from selling expert consultants to taking responsibility for entire commitments. With the Cloud Company, we are also growing our offering to also include operation and management in the cloud. Over the years, we have collaborated on various customer projects and I have great respect for both companies, says Johan Malmliden, CEO of Omegapoint Group AB.
Integrationsbolaget and Molnbolaget are two growing companies with a total of 60 employees and to some extent joint ownership. Both companies have their headquarters in Örebro and also offices in Stockholm. Customers include Fortum, Clas Ohlson and Epiroc.
The integration company has expert competence in system integration on leading technologies in the cloud and on-premises.
-We see fantastic synergies. Omegapoint is known for its skills development, which ranges from trainee programs to skills days and technical deep dives. With access to a sharp skills development program, we have the opportunity to grow at least as much as the market, says Rikard Dahl, CEO of Integrationsbolaget AB.
The cloud company is an independent party for services and platforms in the cloud. They help their customers choose a technical solution, build the cloud environment and take care of the administration. The latter will be a broadening of Omegapoint's offering.
-Omegapoint is very strong on AWS and we have great expertise in Azure and Microsoft 365. Together we will be stronger all the way. It is of course extra fun that we are also adding operation and management services, which is a new area for Omegapoint, says Daniel Lennartsson, CEO of Molnbolaget AB.
Integrationsbolaget and Molnbolaget will become wholly owned subsidiaries of Omegapoint Group AB and both Rikard Dahl and Daniel Lennartsson will take their places in the group management.
"This is an acquisition where we can create mutual benefit for our customers from day one. I am very much looking forward to welcoming all new employees to the Omegapoint family," concludes Johan Malmliden.
