First Swedish IT security manual launched

On Wednesday, September 9, 2009, the "Swedish IT Security Handbook 1.0" was launched. The book is written by Sweden's leading IT security experts in collaboration and is the first Swedish book on IT security on the market.
"The book is aimed at everyone who works with IT and comes into contact with the IT security area. We authors saw a great need for an IT security book in Swedish," says one of the authors, Per Erngård from Omegapoint AB in Kalmar.
The book is written by a team of authors including Sweden's leading IT security experts Predrag Mitrovic, Hasain Alshakarti, Michael Anderberg, Jimmy Arvidsson, Peter Bayer, Johan Blom, David Böling, Robert Carlsson, Per Erngård, David Jacoby, Marcus Murray, Peter Swedin, Mikael Vigström and John Wilander.
"We see how the threat landscape is constantly changing in the IT security area, and with this book we want to create a refreshed book on the subject that has not passed its "best before" date," says Per Erngård, one of Omegapoint's four authors.
The launch took place at Lab Center in Stockholm, where around 90 visitors had the opportunity to discuss their areas of interest with the respective authors at "stations" for the various chapters.
