Omegapoint is a leading company in cyber and digital security with strategic assignments from many of the Nordic countries' leading companies and authorities. Omegapoint realized early on the value of actively establishing structured processes to identify and attract Sweden's best talents in IT and technology during their studies. In 2016, the idea was born to organize a specialized conference that was exclusively aimed at students studying IT, programming and technology, among other things.

Omegapoint's student conference has proven to be highly appreciated and sought after, and the 160 tickets for this year's conference sold out in less than six minutes.

The program consists of three parallel tracks where the idea is to create a smorgasbord of professional lectures where participants have the opportunity to tailor their skills day to their own interests. The lectures are interspersed with workshops where participants are allowed to be active themselves.

The student conference is an important part of Omegapoint's conscious effort to create a distinct competence culture within the company. The student conference is a tool for sharing Omegapoint's knowledge with the outside world and is an important part of Omegapoint Academy, Omegapoint's organization and structure for all competence development, internally and externally.
