Challenge
Anicura has expanded significantly through acquisitions and integrated over 800 operations. To enable efficient reporting, information from many different local systems needed to be integrated; including financial information, operational information, time reporting with payroll systems, and scheduling with clinic systems.
Solution
Omegapoint established a modern integration platform that matched the challenges of Anicura's IT landscape. The platform was developed with high security and quality requirements. For example, Secure by Design, Zero trust and Defence in Depth with the help of several DevSecOps teams.
Results
The new platform enabled approximately 240 integrations in the initial project and created a scalable foundation for continued expansion. Additional countries and systems could be integrated quickly and cost-effectively, while legacy integration solutions could be phased out. The platform is now a central part of AniCura's IT landscape, processing more than 50 million transactions per year, 24/7.

Tools and principles for code generation and information
Challenge
In 2025, Apoteket noted that development teams were already using AI tools to increase efficiency, but without governance and clear security principles. To scale usage, a unified and secure approach was required.
Solution
Omegapoint was contacted and, together with Apoteket, has established guidelines for the selection and packaging of AI tools. In parallel, clear security policies and guidelines were developed for how AI should be used for code generation and information retrieval in practice.
Results
A pilot with a complete packaging of Claude AI/Claude Code has been implemented. Through standardization and updated security classifications, the conditions are now created to scale the solution in the organization. Apoteket has laid the foundation for a high development rate without compromising security.
