Itverket is re-established as an independent company after management acquisition

Omegapoint and the Norwegian IT Authority merged in 2022 with the ambition to strengthen Omegapoint's presence in Norway and combine competencies in system development and cyber-secure digitalization. After a challenging market period and a strategic review of the business, the parties have concluded that the Norwegian unit needs a different direction to reach its full potential. As a result, parts of the management are acquiring the business and re-establishing the IT Authority as an independent company.

While the Omegapoint Group continues to develop a broader Nordic offering in cyber-secure digitalization, the IT Agency assesses that the Norwegian market is in greater demand for specialized senior system development expertise.

The acquisition is effective immediately and does not involve any changes to existing customer commitments. The focus going forward is to ensure a well-coordinated transition and that the IT company's expertise and delivery capabilities continue to benefit customers.
