An annual survey on the perceived threat level of decision-makers in critical societal activities.
Swedish Safety Index
For the sixth consecutive year, together with our subsidiary Basalt, we have conducted the Swedish Security Index survey, where we measure the current threat situation among decision-makers in critical operations. You are welcome to download the report, which also serves as an important basis for decision-making.

The perceived threat level is higher than ever
In the sixth edition of our Swedish Security Index® survey, we have worked together with Radar to find out how decision-makers in critical operations perceive the threat situation today. The results are worrying, and in this year's report we see that the figures are at an all-time high. Almost 8 out of 10 decision makers (76%) perceive the threat to be serious, which is an increase for the fourth consecutive year.

Public confidence at rock bottom
Despite a growing perceived threat, public confidence in the ability of decision-makers to protect critical infrastructure has declined. Today, 29% say they have very little or fairly little confidence in the ability of decision-makers - a proportion that has increased in recent years. The report also points to an interesting paradox. Although public confidence in the ability of decision-makers to protect critical infrastructure is at an all-time low, the majority of Swedes still expect to be supported by an authority in the event of a crisis.
The Swedish Safety Index serves as a powerful decision-making tool for management and the board. Take part of the report in its entirety by filling out the survey below.
