Omegapoint Academy

Omegapoint Academy is the heart of our competence culture and a way to secure our own and our customers’ future. Based on an individual competence development plan, the Academy offers all Omegapoint consultants new perspectives, intellectual stimulation and knowledge.
We believe in the power of collaboration, and an important part of the Academy is sharing our knowledge. We educate each other and our customers, contribute to research, offer thesis opportunities, give guest lectures at universities and international conferences, and help inspire an interest in technology among children and young people.
The Academy offers a range of activities - from competence days to study circles. In addition, there is a trainee program that develops graduates into consultants and a master's program that develops consultants into experts.

Competence days
Competence days are organized every month. It is a forum driven primarily by curiosity and interest. Topics and formats vary, from structured theoretical seminars on a new technological leap to practical labs where we jointly solve a problem we encountered in a customer assignment.

The Omegapoint Competence Conference
En gång per år anordnar vi Omegapoints kompetenskonferens, kallad OPKoKo. Det är två dagar fyllda med ett femtiotal valbara sessioner organiserade i olika teman. Vi har en kommitté som sätter ihop programmet och det är våra egna experter som utbildar. Nivån är hög! I flera fall har OPKoKo blivit en språngbräda för att bjudas in till internationella konferenser och vi har även medarbetare som har fått tillgodoräkna sig ackrediteringspunkter för sin utbildningsinsats.

Internal and external lectures
In the Academy Classroom, we offer around twenty different courses on an ongoing basis. They are characterized by new topics, high level and fast pace. The courses are developed and delivered by our own experts. We also use external institutes for courses we do not provide ourselves.
We select highlights from our competence program and regularly invite customers, industry colleagues and other interested parties to breakfast and lunch lectures.
