Whistleblowing

What is whistleblowing and in what cases can you report?
Whistleblowing gives everyone the opportunity to report wrongdoing that comes to their attention in a work-related context. This means that employees, contractors, trainees, external consultants, etc. can make a whistleblowing report.
Some examples of abuses that can be reported are
-
Circumstances that endanger the life or health of employees
-
Damage to the climate or environment (dangerous products, pollution, etc.)
-
Corruption, bribery or other financial crimes (such as embezzlement, theft, fraud, etc.)
-
Misuse of financial resources
-
Unhealthy work environment (harassment, bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination, racism, etc.)
-
Violations of the Code of Conduct, our Whistleblowing Policy and other applicable policies or guidelines.
If what is reported concerns a crime, a report will be made to the Police Authority.
The whistleblowing law applies not when reporting classified information or certain information related to national security.
Where the conditions are met, the reporting person receives protection in the form of a discharge, prohibition of obstructive measures and reprisals. The discharge has certain limitations, e.g. it does not entail the right to disclose documents. Anyone who commits an offense by reporting or obtaining information is not protected.
The employer is obliged to establish reporting channels and procedures for reporting and follow-up. You can read more in the law (2021:890) on the protection of persons reporting wrongdoing.
Here's how to report:
Omegapoint Group has engaged the company Lantero to handle the reporting. In addition to receiving the reports, their task also includes confirming that the report has been received, following up on what has been reported and providing feedback on actions. The person handling a follow-up case is subject to a duty of confidentiality.
Your identity is handled with 100% anonymity. Your identity will not be revealed without your consent.
Lantero collects your personal data for the duration of the case. What is stored is name, e-mail address and phone number. When the case is closed, all information is deleted from the encrypted servers located at GleSYS in Falkenberg and/or Stockholm. You always have the right, according to GDPR, to request to see what information is stored and request to delete information about you and your identity, under certain conditions.
