Skills development as a culture

In a world where technology is changing faster than ever, it's not enough to just keep up, we need to stay ahead. For us at Omegapoint, this is not a goal in itself, but a natural result of the culture we build every day: a culture where skills development, curiosity and shared knowledge are a natural part of our DNA.
Omegapoint can be described as a greenhouse for development where Omegapoint Academy is at the heart of our skills culture. It underpins the way we work and secures our future through ambitious skills development. We believe in the power of collaboration and an important part of the Academy is sharing our knowledge. We train each other and our customers, contribute to research, offer thesis work, guest lecture at universities and international conferences, and help foster an interest in technology among children and young people.
Skills development in practice
We spend time and effort learning about new technologies, methods and processes. We have several different forums and formats, all aimed at promoting skills exchange and development within the company. Our annual skills conference is a clear example of how we put this culture into practice.
This year, we came together for two intense and inspiring days. More than 70 optional sessions, created and led by our own staff, were held for each other. Divided into six parallel tracks, we tackled everything from technical deep dives to practical cases, safety issues, new regulations and reflections on leadership and collaboration.
It's a unique concept, and it works! Because when we share our knowledge, challenge each other's mindsets and learn together, something more than individual development happens. We strengthen our collective capacity and raise the bar both technically and humanly.
Our skills culture creates value on multiple levels
For the individual:
With us, learning is not a one-off effort, it is a lifelong journey. We believe that every employee should have the opportunity to grow in their knowledge, follow their curiosity and contribute with their expertise. It brings both commitment and pride.
For us as a company:
When learning permeates the whole organization, we become more adaptable, more innovative and better equipped to face the challenges of the future. We build a common knowledge base that makes us stronger together.
For our customers and society at large:
This is where our expertise really makes an impact. By understanding, applying and further developing the latest technologies, we can help our customers make the right decisions, tackle complex challenges, build sustainable solutions and meet security requirements in a digital reality. And thus contribute to a safer and more sustainable digital society.
An investment that pays off - for everyone
Investing in skills development is not just about future-proofing. It's about creating the conditions for innovation, quality and long-term relationships, both internally and externally. We believe that a culture where everyone learns from and with each other is the best way to develop the individual, strengthen the business and make a difference in the world.
For us, skills development is not a one-off event, it is part of our culture. By constantly learning, sharing and growing, we make sure we stay at the forefront of technology.
We invest in our skills, and as a result, our customers can rely on our expertise.
